Journal of Islamic Economics is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in the field of Islamic FinTech, halal industry, Islamic social finance, sustainability, governance, dan digital economy. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to publish original research articles, theoretical studies, and critical analyses that contribute to the development of Islamic economic thought and its practical implementation in contemporary society. The journal is published biannually in January and July.
The scope of the journal includes: (1) Islamic economic theory and thought, (2) Islamic banking and financial institutions, (3) Islamic capital markets and financial instruments, (4) Islamic business, entrepreneurship, and halal industry, (5) zakat, waqf, and Islamic social finance, (6) Islamic accounting, governance, and public finance, and (7) contemporary issues in Islamic economics, sustainable development, digital finance, and public policy from an Islamic perspective.
