The Light of Al-Azhar: Journal of Qur'anic and Hadith Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that focuses on multidisciplinary studies in the field of Qur'anic and Hadith sciences, published by CV. Ummul Quro Littijaroh. The journal aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, scholars, educators, and practitioners to publish original research, theoretical studies, and critical analyses that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and scholarship in Qur'anic and Hadith studies.
The scope of the journal includes: (1) Qur'anic sciences ('Ulūm al-Qur'ān) and Hadith sciences ('Ulūm al-Ḥadīth), (2) Qur'anic exegesis (tafsīr) and Hadith studies, (3) thematic and contemporary interpretations of the Qur'an and Hadith, (4) manuscript studies, textual criticism, and the transmission of Islamic texts, (5) the application of Qur'anic and Hadith values in education, law, society, and civilization, and (6) the integration of Qur'anic and Hadith studies with contemporary social, cultural, scientific, and technological developments.
