Focus and Scope

Journal of Shariah Law Review is a scholarly journal that focuses on Islamic law and contemporary legal studies. The scope of the journal includes: (1) Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and uṣūl al-fiqh, (2) Islamic family law and inheritance law, (3) Islamic criminal law and constitutional law, (4) Islamic economic and commercial law, (5) comparative law, legal reform, and Shariah governance, and (6) contemporary issues in Islamic law, human rights, technology, and global legal developments from an Islamic perspective.
